There is no other big AAA game that takes place in Spain, so a title as beloved and important to the history of the industry as Resident Evil 4 could have been a great opportunity to show the world the uniqueness of our culture, starting with recreating a true Andalusian white village, or maybe having the villagers speak Galician or Basque, depending on where exactly the village is supposed to be located, and perhaps even try to incorporate some of our own local folklore into the game? I always thought it's a shame that Capcom decided to portray my country the way they did.
